Florida City, Gateway to Florida Keys and the Everglades, is the southernmost city in the United States which is not on an island. It is also the last stop on the mainland north of the Florida Keys.

Contiguous with Homestead, Florida City has a small historic area, but much of the city is hotels and other tourist facilities.

The Everglades Alligator Farm in Florida City is a real working alligator farm, currently home to about 2,000 alligators of all sizes. A trip to the alligator farm includes an airboat tour into the surrounding Everglades and a walk around the farm to see the alligators – even to hold baby alligators or snakes – crocodiles, caimans, and wildlife.




Coral Castle is a quirky monument of giant pieces of coral rock carved into a variety of objects by Edward Leedskalnin in the 1920s. The construction techniques behind this mystery garden of fantastic coral sculptures continue to baffle experts and visitors.

More than 500 varieties of exotic fruits, herbs, spices and nuts from throughout the world are found in the lush 39-acre Fruit & Spice Park.

The Richard Petty Driving Experience offers guests the opportunity to ride or drive an authentic NASCAR Nextel Cup-style race car.

Schnebly Redland's Winery produces tropical fruit wines and offers tours and wine tastings around natural coral waterfalls surrounded by lush tropical foliage.

At the Speed Demons Kart Racing & Arcade you can race fast European karts on two tracks with lap-time printouts.
