KEY BISCAYNE

Seven miles long and two miles wide, the a tropical island paradise of Key Biscayne is located just six miles off the coast of Miami. It is connected to the mainland by way of Rickenbacker Causeway.
The main attraction of Key Biscayne is understandably the island’s miles of sandy white beaches. Crandon Beach covers the northern one third of Key Biscayne and on the South side of the residential area is the Cape Florida State Park, a consistent award winner among the top-ranked beaches in the US.
In his annual rating of America’s Best Beaches, "Dr. Beach" constantly recognizes Cape Florida State Park in the list of top ranking beaches. Offering miles of paved pedestrian and cycle paths, this park is a favorite way to enjoy the ocean breezes and the historic Cape Florida Lighthouse that is open for tours.
Fishing along the seawall is another popular attraction, as is swimming in the Atlantic Ocean and exploring the nature trails that showcase a broad spectrum of native plant and wildlife communities.
Crandon Golf Course is one of the most beautiful and exciting par-72 courses in Florida and is the only public course on Biscayne Bay.
Miami and all the exciting attractions of the area are only a 15 minute drive from Key Biscayne.
