FLORIDA PLACES AND DESTINATIONS - PALM COAST

Lush native trees and plants along Palm Coast's parkways are reminiscent of the "old Florida". Located on the Atlantic Ocean, Palm Coast is equidistant between the cities of Jacksonville and Orlando.
There is boating year-round on Palm Coast's many canals and on the Intracoastal waterway, picnicking in the many parks like Belle Terre Park and Bird of Paradise Nature Preserve, jogging on one of the winding forest trails, or spotting dolphins and sea birds along the Intracoastal waterway.
St. Augustine, the oldest city in the US, is half an hour away, as are Daytona Beach's white sand beaches. Marineland is only minutes away.
Additional area attractions include the Castillo De San Marcos National Monument and Fort Matanzas National Monument.
