The historic district of Old Palm Harbor fosters a charming atmosphere with dozens of small shops and eateries along with a handful of historic buildings.

Palm Harbor has numerous festivals and craft fairs. Old Palm Harbor Main Streets Inc. hosts "Palm Harbor's First Friday Celebrations" every month. Every first Sunday in October, the "Taste of Palm Harbor" festival offers live music and the tasting of samples from over 20 local restaurants. The Palm Harbor Parrot Head Party fun event is in June, with the Palm Harbor Bike fest in November.




The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art houses a 5,500-piece collection includes the world’s only copy of Picasso’s oil painting, Guernica. The Palm Harbor Historical Museum features a variety of exhibits on the history of the Palm Harbor, Crystal Beach, Ozona and Curlew communities.

The Pinellas Trail extends the length of Pinellas County, winding through Palm Harbor. Bicyclists, walkers and skaters of all ages enjoy the trail. Located on the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Tarpon, saltwater and freshwater fishing are convenient to both the all fisherman. Golfing is within minutes of Palm Harbor's hotels.

Palm Harbor is within close proximity to Clearwater, St. Petersburg and the Tampa Bay area.
