The Villages is a golf cart community, with special trails for golf carts. There are more than 40 recreation centers with shops. movies and restaurants, over 20 executive golf courses, eight championship golf courses with country clubs, a golf academy, a polo field, fitness centers, a woodworking shop and community garden, an archery range, and two libraries.
