FLORIDA PLACES AND DESTINATIONS - WESTON

Nestled on the edge of the Everglades in Broward County, Weston is home to a number of leading Fortune 500 companies such as American Express.

Arts festivals, concerts and celebrity golf tournaments bring residents and visitors alike together on weekends. An 800-year old Tequesta Indian burial mound is located in Weston. There are well planned bike and walking trails and numerous recreational parks. The Bonaventure Country Club is host to two championship courses.




A short drive from Weston takes visitors to Hollywood’s Boardwalk that parallels over two miles of palm-fringed beach. The Boardwalk is lined with outdoor cafes, gift shops, souvinier shops and art galleries.

Weston is minutes from National Car Rental Center, home of Florida Panthers and international performing artists, Sawgrass Mills Mall.

Close by are Greater Fort Lauderdale’s 23 miles of beach and nearby Pompano Beach is three and a half miles long. More than 50 golf courses are within a short drive of Weston.
